Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 12, 2026 | Last Updated: September 12, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and County Loop LLC, doing business as Military Loop (“Military Loop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of MilitaryLoop.com, my.MilitaryLoop.com, and related Military Loop websites, directories, job and career resources, listings, events, deals, classifieds, memberships, sponsorships, employer services, career services, training, merchandise, checkout, communications, and other products or services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, submitting information, placing an order, purchasing a membership or service, sponsoring a service, or entering into a written scope with Military Loop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 13 years old to use general website features, or older if required by applicable law. You must be at least 18 years old, the age of legal majority where you live, or acting with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian to make a paid purchase. If you use the Services or purchase on behalf of a business, government entity, nonprofit, employer, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts, Security, and Accurate Information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it when necessary.
- You may not impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent military status, business ownership, affiliation, credentials, or authority.
- We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, create security or fraud risk, or misuse the Services.
3. Military Loop’s Role; Third-Party Information
Military Loop operates a community, commerce, career, and employer-support platform. Some content is created by Military Loop, and some is submitted by businesses, employers, organizations, users, event organizers, advertisers, or other third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Military Loop does not endorse, guarantee, or independently verify every third-party listing, job, employer, event, deal, discount, product, service, review, advertisement, or claim.
You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it. Transactions or relationships between you and a third party are generally between you and that third party, except where Military Loop is expressly identified as the seller or service provider.
4. Directory Listings, Events, Deals, Reviews, and Classifieds
- Businesses and organizations are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information, hours, pricing, eligibility claims, offers, and descriptions.
- Event organizers are responsible for dates, venues, permits, safety, accessibility, and legal compliance.
- Deal and discount terms are set by the offering business unless Military Loop expressly states otherwise. Availability may change, and Military Loop does not guarantee that a third-party offer will be honored.
- Any “featured,” “sponsored,” “Vanguard,” or similar label describes placement, participation, or program status and is not a guarantee of quality, performance, or outcome.
- Unless expressly stated, Military Loop is not the broker, escrow agent, shipper, or payment processor for classified transactions between users.
5. Jobs, Recruiting, and Employer Listings
Job postings, employer profiles, recruiting campaigns, and employer opportunities may be provided by third parties or supported by Military Loop. Employers are responsible for the truth and legality of their job postings, application requirements, compensation disclosures, hiring practices, interviews, employment decisions, workplace compliance, and employment relationships.
Military Loop may assist with outreach, military-experience translation, candidate preparation, recruiting strategy, sourcing, campaign support, and employer education. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, the employer retains all screening, interview, hiring, compensation, onboarding, discipline, and termination decisions. Military Loop does not guarantee applications, interviews, offers, hires, retention, job performance, or business results.
6. Candidate and Career Services
Military Loop may provide resume reviews, resume development, military-to-civilian skills translation, interview preparation, career coaching, workshops, assessments, and related career services. These services are educational and professional-development services. They are not legal, tax, financial, medical, mental-health, VA-benefits, or government advice.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for reviewing final materials before using them.
- Military Loop does not guarantee an interview, job offer, salary, security clearance, employment outcome, or employer decision.
- Service scope, deliverables, session length, revision limits, timing targets, scheduling rules, and other transaction-specific terms shown on the applicable product page, intake, order confirmation, or written agreement are incorporated into these Terms.
- Do not submit Social Security numbers, banking information, medical information, full dates of birth, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Do not submit an unredacted DD214 unless Military Loop specifically requests it through an appropriate process.
7. Employer Services and Custom Engagements
Employer Services may include military hiring assessments, team training, recruiting campaigns, strategic partnerships, embedded military-talent support, job visibility, and related consulting or recruiting services. Defined services may be purchased online. Higher-scope services may require an intake, discovery conversation, written scope, statement of work, or other agreement before work begins.
For any conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement covering a specific employer engagement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
8. Talent Ready, Assessments, and Recognition
Any Military Loop assessment, score, readiness designation, badge, or recognition is based on Military Loop’s own criteria and is not a government, Department of Defense, military-branch, licensing-board, accreditation-body, or employer certification unless expressly stated otherwise. A designation does not guarantee employment, performance, eligibility, or hiring preference. Military Loop may revise criteria, suspend a designation, or revoke use of a badge if the underlying requirements are no longer met or the badge is misused.
9. Sponsored Career Services
A sponsored career-service purchase funds a defined Military Loop service for an eligible military-connected recipient or approved program. The recipient receives the service, not cash. Sponsorship does not purchase an interview, offer, job, passing score, designation, or other guaranteed outcome.
- Direct sponsorship and merchandise-funded mission support may be tracked separately.
- A sponsor does not automatically receive private candidate information, resumes, contact information, service notes, or other personal data.
- Recognition, recipient stories, thank-you messages, or identifying information may be shared only where appropriate and with required consent.
- Unless expressly stated in writing, a sponsorship is not represented as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
- If a specifically named or referred recipient cannot or does not participate, Military Loop may contact the sponsor regarding reassignment or available refund options.
10. The Vanguard Membership
Vanguard membership levels are organizational participation programs with the benefits stated on the applicable product page at the time of purchase. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, standard Vanguard memberships are one-time purchases for a 12-month term and do not automatically renew.
- Included job-campaign credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and expire at the end of the applicable membership term unless otherwise stated.
- A standard Vanguard membership may include a Lifetime Military Loop Directory listing. “Lifetime” means no recurring listing fee for the eligible listing while Military Loop operates the applicable directory and the listing remains compliant with our policies. It is not a guarantee that a particular website, platform, URL, feature, or business will operate forever.
- The Vanguard badge may be displayed on the member’s website, careers pages, email signatures, and appropriate digital platforms during the active membership term, subject to Military Loop brand guidelines. The badge may link to the member’s Military Loop directory listing.
- The badge, name, and marks remain Military Loop intellectual property. Membership does not transfer ownership of the badge or marks.
- Military Loop may suspend badge use or membership benefits for misuse, fraud, material policy violations, or misleading claims of endorsement.
11. Orders, Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Prices, features, promotions, and availability may change. The price shown at checkout controls for that order, except where an obvious pricing or technical error occurs. We may cancel or correct an order affected by fraud, unauthorized payment, technical error, or material pricing error and will provide any refund required for a cancelled paid order.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Military Loop generally does not store full payment-card numbers. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes, shipping, or other disclosed charges.
You are responsible for providing correct billing, shipping, and contact information. Taxes may be collected where required by law. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
12. Service Scheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds
Service-specific cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and attendance rules shown on the product page, booking confirmation, event notice, or written agreement control for that service.
Unless a specific service states otherwise, amounts may become non-refundable once substantive work has begun, a scheduled live service has been delivered, a custom scope has been accepted and work has started, or other committed performance has occurred. Before work begins, contact Military Loop promptly if you need to cancel or change an order. Depending on the service and circumstances, available remedies may include cancellation, rescheduling, credit, reassignment, partial refund, or refund.
Failure to attend a scheduled session or provide required intake materials may delay delivery and may be subject to the applicable scheduling or cancellation terms. Refund rights required by applicable law are not waived.
13. Merchandise, Fulfillment, Shipping, and Returns
Military Loop may sell apparel, accessories, and other physical merchandise, including items produced or fulfilled by third-party print-on-demand or fulfillment providers. Product images are illustrative; minor variations in color, placement, print appearance, or packaging may occur.
- Shipping dates and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
- You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
- Made-to-order items may enter production shortly after purchase. Once production begins, cancellation or buyer’s-remorse returns may not be available unless stated otherwise.
- If merchandise arrives damaged, materially defective, misprinted, or as the wrong item, contact Military Loop promptly and provide reasonable order details and photos when requested. We may replace the item, issue a refund, or provide another appropriate remedy.
- Size, color, or preference-based returns for made-to-order merchandise are not guaranteed unless the product page or a separate return policy expressly allows them.
- Shipping promotions and free-shipping thresholds may have exclusions and may change.
14. User Content
“User Content” means content you submit or upload, including listings, reviews, posts, images, logos, messages, offers, events, classifieds, profiles, and other materials. You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Military Loop and County Loop LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, publish, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate, market, secure, and improve the Services.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content, that it is truthful and lawful, and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, law, or platform policies.
15. Military Loop Intellectual Property and Badge License
The Services, Military Loop name, logos, graphics, badges, designs, written content, software, page layouts, and other Military Loop-created materials are owned by County Loop LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for a limited permission expressly granted through a membership, partnership, listing program, written agreement, or brand guideline, you may not copy, modify, sell, sublicense, distribute, or create misleading uses of Military Loop intellectual property.
16. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, contact support@militaryloop.com with your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, the URL or location of the material, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
17. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing conduct.
- Post false military status, false business ownership claims, fake reviews, false discounts, deceptive job opportunities, or misleading credentials.
- Post personal information about another person without appropriate authority.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, or bypass security controls.
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or automate access at a scale or in a manner that harms the Services or violates law or posted technical restrictions.
- Infringe intellectual-property rights.
- Use the Services to distribute spam or unauthorized solicitations.
- Use Military Loop badges, marks, directory status, Vanguard status, or Talent Ready-related designations to imply a government certification, employment guarantee, or endorsement that does not exist.
18. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites, payment processors, shipping providers, print-on-demand providers, cloud services, email services, analytics providers, social networks, applicant-tracking systems, job sites, or other services. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. Military Loop is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
19. Communications
By providing contact information, you authorize Military Loop to send transactional and service-related communications reasonably necessary to operate your account, order, intake, application, sponsorship, membership, or engagement. Marketing communications are subject to applicable law and available opt-out choices. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
20. No Professional or Government Advice
Unless a specific written engagement expressly provides otherwise, information on Military Loop relating to military benefits, VA claims, health care, taxes, law, government programs, employment law, compensation, security clearances, or similar subjects is general information only. Military Loop is not a government agency and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, or any military branch unless expressly stated for a specific authorized relationship.
21. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. MILITARY LOOP DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, EXCEPT WHERE A WARRANTY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
22. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILITARY LOOP, COUNTY LOOP LLC, AND THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO MILITARY LOOP FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Military Loop and County Loop LLC, including their affiliates, owners, officers, employees, and contractors, from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms or law, your misuse of the Services, or your interactions or transactions with third parties.
24. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access, listings, memberships, badges, accounts, or Services if we reasonably believe there has been a violation of these Terms, fraud, unlawful activity, security risk, nonpayment, abuse, or material harm to Military Loop or others. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
25. Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS.
Informal Resolution First
Before starting arbitration or legal action, you and Military Loop agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Send written notice describing the issue and requested resolution to County Loop LLC, 111 W 2nd St S, Suite B, Ladysmith, WI 54848, or support@militaryloop.com. The parties will attempt to resolve the matter for 30 days after receipt.
Individual Arbitration
If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and County Loop LLC agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, except for qualifying small-claims matters, claims seeking injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use, fraud, abuse, or security breaches, and intellectual-property claims.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under applicable rules, including consumer rules when applicable. If the AAA is unavailable, another nationally recognized provider using comparable rules may be selected. Unless applicable law or the arbitrator requires otherwise, the arbitration location will be Rusk County, Wisconsin, and proceedings may occur by video, telephone, written submissions, or in person as permitted.
No Class Actions
You and County Loop LLC agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in a purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If a court determines that the class-action waiver is unenforceable for a particular claim, the arbitration requirement will not apply to that claim to the extent required by law.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory protections under applicable law remain in effect.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or other reasonable means when required. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
28. Product-Specific Terms and Written Agreements
Product pages, checkout notices, booking confirmations, program rules, sponsorship terms, membership terms, and signed written agreements may contain additional terms. Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms. If a signed written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls for the specific engagement. If a product-specific term conflicts with a general provision here, the more specific term controls for that transaction unless prohibited by law.
